Morgana smiled far too kindly. "Now why should I do that? I'm not hurting the child." she says. She had now taken hold of Rosey's two tiny arms and forced them behind her back in one hand, and had her mouth covered with another hand. She knew what the girl could do, and she wasn't going to take any chances. Rosey was too important to lose so easily.
Arthur growled and took a step towards them. "I'm sure if you would let her speak she would tell you exactly how she feels." he remarks. Morgana tightened her grip, making Rosey whimper in pain. "Not another step."she hissed.
Arthur was torn. He wanted to dash forward and pull Rosey from Morgana's grasp, but he knew Morgana could end Rosey by simply casting a spell. Even as he thought, Rosey began to struggle. Morgana tightened her grasp, now focused on the girl. And Arthur took his chance. He lunged forward, sword drawn, and brought the blade down to strike his sister's neck. Morgana let go of Rosey as she used her hands to caste a spell to send Arthur flying into a nearby tree. Rosey had taken off and was running through the trees. She was terrified.
Rosey fell with a cry. She landed on a bunch of tiny rocks. Holding back her whimpers of pain, the girl pulled herself to a bush and hides. She pulls her knees to her chest and rested her head between her knees, shaking. She didn't know what to do or where to go. And when she saw a pair of boots, she had to use her own hand to muffle her cry of despair. She was trapped.
The boots walked about a moment before advancing toward her. Rosey scampered back only to go rolling down a small cliff side. She landed with a dull thud and groan. She couldn't bring herself to lift her head, and the ringing in her ears made it impossible to hear. She laid there, her eyes closed tightly. Whoever that woman was, hopefully she wouldn't come after her. Rosey could only hope. She felt like she couldn't move.
The princess whimpers as someone touches her gently on the back. She tries to move away from the touch but she couldn't. She didn't understand what was going on. She whines as the person, whoever they were, picked her up. She suddenly starts feeling better. She opens her eyes slowly, and could barely stop herself from crying when she saw who it was.
It was the woman who had attacked her. Morgana. Yes, that was who she was. Her eyes were just returning to their normal color from being amber. Morgana could use magic just as Rosey could. That explained why she felt better. She had healed her.
Rosey struggled to get out of Morgana's grasp but she held her tightly. "Hold still you rat!"she growled, beginning to walk. Rosey cried out a spell, hoping to make Morgana fall. All it did was make her stumble and make her madder. She stops and sets Rosey down, holding tightly to her arm. Rosey doesn't stop struggling.
"Mordred!" Morgana called. Moments later, a man appears out of the shadows. Rosey froze as a 'vision' takes over. She was sucked into her own mind.
